The adult Sanctuary Choir at Trinity-First UMC exists to provide a pathway into the presence of God. We encourage those in our congregation who enjoy singing to utilize their musical gifts and offer them back to God through participation in the choir. We survey a wide variety of musical styles from week to week. We recognize music as a vital and important part of meaningful worship. We aim to do so with joy and thanksgiving, making a joyful musical noise unto the Lord.
Date: Wednesdays at 7 PM
Location: Choir Room, below the Sanctuary
What to expect
As a choir member, you will sing during our church worship services, present extended musical works during the Christmas season, Holy Week, and Independence Day to name a few.
We have an annual retreat among the cool pines at Sacramento Methodist Assembly each August as we commence our new choir year.
How to join
We are a volunteer choir with membership open to singers of all ages. One of things to do in order to be in the choir, you maybe asked to audition, so take a deep breath, smile, and sing with your heart’s delight. If you have some singing experience and musical knowledge, that is great, but it is not mandatory to be apart of our choir.
Guests are always welcome! If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call or text John Eby, director, at 915-355-1197, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
